

Mrs Vandana Kapoor
President AFFWA (R) SWAC

Mrs Vandana Kapoor born on 04 Feb, is a native of Jalandhar, Punjab and holds a degree in BA (Instrumental Music), B.Ed. During her college days, She was part of the college orchestra team and also had a short stint with All India Radio (Jalandhar) as a host in a talk show called "Yuv Wani”.
Mrs Kapoor joined the IAF family on 03 Oct 92. Since then, she has travelled the length and breadth of India from Chabua to Bhuj and Wellington to Adampur along with the Air Officer. Her journey also included a significant tenure in Pakistan from 2010 to 2012, where she played a crucial role in fostering cross-cultural hospitality as a member of the Corps of Service Attaches Ladies Association (COSALA).
Throughout her life in the Air Force, she has been an active member of AFFWA and has contributed immensely as President AFFWA (Local) of two Air Force Stations and President AFFWA (Regional) Training Command. She has special affection for children and strives for their betterment. Mrs Kapoor strongly believes that AFFWA plays a pivotal role in empowering our Sanginis and also in improving the overall quality of life of our air warriors and their families.
Mrs Kapoor has a vibrant personality with love for travelling, gardening and cooking. She has a keen interest in interior designing and is also fond of dancing and music.
Mrs Kapoor and Air Mshl Kapoor are blessed with two children, Eesha and Karan Veer Kapoor.
