Mrs Anu Khanna

Mrs Anu Khanna was born in Amritsar, she completed her schooling from Dalhousie and is an alumni of Delhi University. She started her journey as an Air Force Sangini after marrying then Flt Lt Manish Khanna in 1992 and since then has always accompanied the officer on all his assignments.

She has been an active member of the AFFWA community for more than 30 years. During these years she has keenly participated in the various activities and initiatives of the association in different capacities and as President AFFWA (L) Bidar, Advance Headquarters Chandimandir and the College of Air Warfare. Mrs Khanna has a resolute disposition for social service and has worked for ‘Concern India Foundation’ contributing towards the well-being of underprivileged children and women.

Her academic accolades include BA (Hons) in Psychology from Delhi University, B.Ed and PG Diploma in PR & Marketing. She has taught at various Air Force and private Schools and has been the Headmistress of Primary Wing, AF School at Hindon. She has also been a content writer for a publishing house and has authored primary school text books.

Prior to assuming her current role as President AFFWA (R) SAC, she was the Vice President AFFWA (R) HQ SWAC, Gandhinagar and has been an active member of AFFWA HQ during the tenure of the Air Officer in Delhi.

She is fond of travelling, trekking and reserves a special space for her potted plants and gardens. The couple are blessed with two children, Jai and Ria, who are currently pursuing their careers in the fields of Computer Engineering and Corporate Law.
