Mrs Ravdeep Walia

Born on 9th April in Ajmer, Mrs Ravdeep Walia has studied in various institutions in different parts of India. She comes from an Army background and married into the Air Force on 11th Dec 1994.

She is a post-graduate in Zoology and a trained teacher. She has taught students at different levels over the past 30 years and has been the principal of an Air Force School. Whilst in Japan with her husband, she was the President of the Military Attaches Spouses Association in Tokyo, for two years. Over these past many years, she has been an active participant in numerous welfare activities and has organised events and workshops for families and children, across a variety of spheres.

She is a voracious reader, enjoys solving puzzles and loves to travel and explore new places. She has been the chief editor of Sukanya 2019 and Anantika 2023 at EAC and WAC and has twice been a member of the editorial board of the Sangini magazine. She has accompanied the Air Marshal on all his tenures and has been an active participant in all aspects of life in the Air Force.
